Floral Preservation Block Options

Keep your special event flowers forever, perfectly preserved in epoxy resin!

🌹

Floral preservation is a delicate process. Most flowers take 2-4 weeks to dry in silica; leaving them preserved and frozen in time. After the flowers are dry, I encase them completely in epoxy resin. The process is done in several layers and takes multiple weeks to complete. The complete process takes about 2-3 months from start to finish, but your sentimental flowers will last forever.
Not all flowers preserve equally. Certain flower types can discolor or lose their shape. Delicate flowers may lose their petals and need to be manually reconstructed.

Book your service in advance! Florals need to start the drying process within 24-48 hours after your wedding or event. Please keep that in mind when scheduling this service. I usually book clients out at least a month in advance of your event date.

Due to the time required to dry florals, there is a $100 Retainer Fee required to hold your event date on my calendar. This deposit/retainer fee will go towards the final payment of your custom piece. All retainer fees are non-refundableGift cards are also available for purchase. They make great wedding registry gifts!

Because of the involved and complicated process of drying event flowers, I will require a minimum purchase of $100 per floral block order.
The smaller items, such as ring holders, bottle openers, bottle stopper, etc. will only be available as add-ons.
🌹
I am happy to offer complimentary floral pick-up for weddings and events local to Sarasota or Manatee Counties. Picking up your florals in person will avoid the damage that can be inflicted on the flowers during shipping.

Final payments for custom floral orders are due upon design completion. Orders are non-refundable after the epoxy process has begun. All designs will require written approval and consent before the epoxy process is started. Any leftover, dried flowers that don't fit into the approved designs will be in too fragile a condition to return and will therefore become property of Crafted by Rachel as stock flowers.
